Ukraine managed to shoot down a big prize — a Russian Tu-22 bomber while it was returning from a mission to launch cruise missiles. It’s the first time Ukraine has destroyed one of these in flight. Russia, of course, claimed it was due to technical malfunctions.

I once volunteered to help sift through the wreckage of a home destroyed by a tornado to help recover personal items of the victims. It can be a very emotional experience so I can imagine how difficult it was for these children.
